Infrastructure Redesign
Research Question:
"How might we pre-plan and involve community engagement in the design of sporting venues and what outcomes could this produce?"

The prototype addresses the design problem/ research question by being an example of how user testing, research and appropriate materials can help reduce infrastructure becoming obsolete. This prototype will be used for the design and construction industries as an example and aid for future designs of sporting facilities. A range of steps were used in the process of making the prototype to reach the final outcome. Pre-planning and community involvement is very important to make sure the final outcome is achievable and will be used. A lot of research into existing stadiums, materials, pre-planning and adaptive reuse as well as user testing were included to make sure the outcome was a good demonstration of how a space can have multiple uses.
